Style Trend: Peacock Feathers

22 Apr

This year we have seen Peacock Feathers really start to pop up not only in apparel and jewelry but also in the wedding industry. From invitations, centerpieces, and hair accessories to wedding clutch purses & Bridal Bouquets. With all of the beautiful colors in a peacock feather, you have many options for color patterns and accents. Teals, purples, greens and blues you can really make this unique to fit your style.

Below are some of the photos that we have seen the Peacock Feather theme work really well (and yes, you can take the peacock theme too far if you aren’t careful!) Our advice is to keep a cohesive pattern throughout your decor so that everything flows.

The moral of this story is to not be afraid to think outside of the box, use creativity, and really show both of your personalities through your decor.  If your Fiance’s favorite color is blue, or green etc and wants to wear a blue vest/dress shirt this is a way to have a fun theme, while coordinating other wedding details like the bridemaid dresses and groomsmen’s attire.

Love the rich color palette of peacock colors. I have had a lot of brides choosing these colors for their wedding. They want to keep the purple colors going- eggplant is still in favor for 2012.

A search in Bing brought up your website – I’m glad it did, many thanks.
